I thought it might save time to say a few words on how I shall moderate my blog, if I am fortunate enough to receive comments.
I have one principle: I'd prefer the blog to be...well, pretty. My blog is a garden, which I intend to prune. If a comment is unsightly due to obscenity, or grammatically beyond the pale, or unrelated, it shall be removed promptly and without further explanation.
The second face of that principle concerns the mess of fuzzy thinking. If a comment's argument essentially falls under one of the headings of these logical fallacies:
- i-post hoc
- ii-ad hominem
- iii-broad sweeping statement
- iv-red herring
it will be removed and again without further explanation. To any person to whom this may happen, consider it a service on my part to spare you the humiliation of showcasing a feeble argument.
